{ July 24-25th, 2026 }

BSDC is a two-day tech conference in Bozeman, Montana, hosted by the folks at Montana Programmers. We bring together developers, engineers, and builders from across the state and beyond for talks that actually matter — hypermedia, AI, systems programming, game dev, and everything in between.

No corporate keynotes. No "thought leadership." Just real people shipping real things, sharing what they've learned, and hanging out in one of the most beautiful places on earth.

We've pulled in over 160,000 video views and 600 attendees since rebooting in 2024. This year we're going bigger — more speakers, lower ticket prices, and the best lineup yet. If you're tired of boring conferences, come build something a little wild with us.

An Almost-Serious 3D Multiplayer in the Browser: Rust, WASM & SpacetimeDB

I have no idea what I'm doing
Army brat. I bounced around France and Tahiti before moving to China in 2005 to work in tech. I started a company, building apps for tens of millions of users. I sold it in 2022 and stepped down 14 months ago. I went back to coding and started a few open source projects (Pages CMS, Basecoat, /dev/push). Starting a new startup now.
